Welcome
Welcome to Bright Hope Homeschool. I’m so glad you’re here.
This is a supportive, student-centered learning environment where students feel seen, valued, and inspired to grow through meaningful, personalized instruction. Together, we celebrate individual differences, build confidence, and help every learner thrive.
Teaching is not simply what I do. It is the work I feel deeply called to.
Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of guiding students across a wide range of ages, abilities, and learning environments. Each child arrives with a unique perspective, a distinct set of strengths, and a story that deserves to be understood. I believe exceptional education begins there—with careful attention, genuine connection, and the intention to meet each learner exactly as they are.
I hold national certifications spanning Pre-K through 12th grade in general education, special education, music, Spanish, mathematics, and core academic subjects. I have also completed Orton-Gillingham training in reading and phonics, equipping me to support students with diverse literacy needs, including dyslexia, through structured and highly individualized instruction.
I am the founder of Bright Hope Homeschool Academy, a boutique microschool designed to reimagine what education can feel like. Inspired by a modern one-room schoolhouse model, Bright Hope offers a thoughtfully curated learning environment where students are known, valued, and supported in a deeply personal way.
Here, education extends far beyond traditional academics. Students engage in meaningful discussions, hands-on projects, and real-world applications that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Learning is intentionally designed to feel connected, relevant, and purposeful.
At the heart of Bright Hope is a close-knit community.
It is a space where students feel safe to be themselves, to take intellectual risks, and to grow with confidence. Older students develop leadership and mentorship skills, while younger students are invited into a culture of exploration and possibility. Relationships are nurtured with care, creating a sense of belonging that becomes foundational to each student’s experience.
My philosophy centers on the whole child. I value connection before curriculum, flexibility within structure, and growth that honors each learner’s individual pace. I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse students and believe that differences are not something to correct, but something to understand, support, and thoughtfully cultivate.
Beyond the classroom, I live in alignment with the same principles I bring into my work. I am deeply committed to health and wellness, with a background in fitness and nutrition, and I recognize the profound connection between physical well-being and the ability to learn and thrive. I am also a lifelong learner, continually inspired by reading, music, and travel, all of which shape the way I connect with and teach my students.
At its core, Bright Hope is more than a school.
It is an intentional, elevated learning experience where education feels personal, thoughtful, and deeply meaningful—and where every student is truly seen.
